First post - Just bought an 06 Cobalt SS/SC

Let me introduce myself, I am literally a forum Lurker by design of my project, GOB-BALT. It will never be a Goblin. I have disassembled 5 or 6 donors/cadavers and worked on numerous Cobalt's/G5's. Plus other Delta platform cars, Saturn Ion's and HHR's. And interested in others like(Kappa platform cars?) Solstice/ Sky. Charlottesville, Thomas Jefferson's home IIRC? Yes, I could make that length trip for parts I see first in pix. I am close to Columbus, GA. Many folks with Army background went through Ft. Benning so they know the area. You'll get to trip over my stuff for a while though, I live on the road and am only home a couple of months a year, next garage stop is February 2024. Currently in F.W. TX. ******Definitely Save all fasteners off your donor! And take the time to sort them into bins or jars or cups or Something! Keep them all together! There are LESS fasteners in a Goblin than in your donor but DF is expecting you to reuse certain little bits they know will be found in your donor!(or consider buying stock in your local hardware store.) Just save all fasteners, they don't take up that much space and the trash won't be mad if it get's those bits tomorrow or next year! AND.... Parking brake lever assembly and cables and bits, a favorite forgotten part that leaves with the hull. Forum Favorite trouble source is GROUNDS!(I just wanted to be the first to mention them!)
