That whole area has exploded with what I call McMansions or hipster houses. The original housing there were very small 2 bedroom, 1 bath type. Now they are all getting bought up for the land, taken down and rebuilt from lot line to lot line. The bigger pieces of property where commercial stuff was (no zoning in Houston) is now “condos” or “row houses”. People on top of people. And selling for big bucks. No yard and small 2car garages. If you like history, I’ll get into the area just south of there called “the Houston heights”. Or google it.

No good old wooden covered bridges any where close to us.
All the old iron truss bridges are getting torn down.
So, here is the neighborhood bridge over the bayou through the golf course.
