I took the daughter out to watch fireworks. My wife worked tonight and a few more nights and Emmett is at camp

I hung out here at home watching all the fireworks in the area. Clouds and rain kept the temps cool for this time of year.

Sadly many will not know independence until they don’t have it. The fish cannot perceive water until it is out of it. We made loud and sparkly things happen and tried hard to remind all that freedom isn’t the natural state of the basic human. Prior to 249 years ago it was a privilege reserved only for those rich enough to cause it. What a gift! The signers fully recognized this Declaration was in fact their Death Warrant. John Hancock wanted the King of England to be able to read HIS name without his specs, Mr. Hancock was ready for part 2 of FAFO. This is the cost.
