I have a 2006 2.4L SS/NA Auto Donor and I'm currently working through the wiring harness and have a few questions that I couldn't find on the forum:
Question #1
In the Part 2 video it shows the EBCM connector wiring that is a little different than mine as I have ABS and I'm unsure of some of the wires I need to keep. I thinned the ones I was sure of but I'm at a loss for the remaining ones pictured below:
#1 is a large red w/ black stripe wire that connects to position B1 on the smaller rectangular light gray multi-plug in the main fuse box.
#2 is a pink wire that connects to position B2 on the dark gray square multi plug in the main fuse box (i believe this can be used to power the intercooler which i don't need).
#3 is a gray (or maybe light blue) wire that connects to position F4 on the gray multi-plug then to position 7 on the ECM connector.
#6 and 7 are tan and tan w/ black stripe twisted wires that connect to position C5 & C6 on the Dash connector.
#4 and 5 are tan and tan w/ black stripe twisted wires that connect to a connector I do not know:
This connector has 4 wires that i am also not sure what to do with:
The tan and tan w/ black stripe twisted wires from the EBCM connector.
A brown wire that connects to position B5 on the red BCM multi-plug then to position 18 on the ECM connector.
A green wire that seems to be the back-up lamp wire
In the part 2 video at 1:38 - I don't have the tan and brown twisted wires
In the part 2 video at 1:48 - I don't think I have a vacuum sensor connector
Question #2:
In the Part 3 video, it discusses the fuel pump wires. I know I need to keep the Large Gray (C), Tan (H), and Purple (D) wires for the fuel pump. I would like to keep the evap system wires as I may need them to get registered. I just don't know which ones they are:
Question #3:
After going through parts 1, 2, and 3, I'm not sure if I should be keeping or thinning the extra seat connectors and wires:
If you thin them out, how do you keep the seatbelt warning from always going?
Thanks for your help!
