Made a visit to the shop today

Yesterday may wife and I decided to go for a ride in the hill country and we wound up last night in Dallas. This morning on our way back to Austin we stopped by the shop - wow.
The Doyles don't post too much about the shop but they have around 10,000 - 12,000 sq ft. of space between 5 separate buildings - plus they rent another building to another business.

One of the building holds their CNC machines (4 of them) plus a shop space.
The other 4 buildings, were a bit disorganized with various machines and processes spread in all 4 in a somewhat random fashion. That all changed!!! They now have one building that holds parts and where final assembly/kitting will take place. Another building hols raw material for frames and their cutting operation. I think they will move their high speed precision CNC bender to this building. I did not notice if it was moved. They have material in for the next run of 25 cars (of which mine is one :)i. One building now holds previous projects, inventions, some of their old race cars, etc. Before it was spread throughout. The last building has their car lift and still needs a bit of straightening up.

They are geared up for full production. With my own donor now ready to start assembly it can't be too soon for me!!!
