V1 Shifter Cable Help

One of my shifter cables will not seem to fit into the bracket when hooked up to the transmission. Are my cables hooked up correctly? If so how can I adjust them so that they fit into the bracket?

The F35s have a plate that you're missing in your picture.

Dave, you could make a build thread and keep all of your posts in one thread instead of making a new thread every time you have a question. Just sayin'

Thank you. I found the shifter plate in the baggie for the shifter hardware that I am not using. I am using the anodized shifter kit.

Great idea on the build log to keep everything consolidated. I did not start one originally because my car was started by another builder but I will start one now.

The DF shift kit should still use the bracket (arrow) and plate (circle).
