I’ll let you both know in the spring. I have mounts coming for them that should be very easy to remove and install if it’s bad. Just got tired of taping on numbers every time I went to Autocross

44 degrees and sunny in Michigan. Why wait for a test drive. So I feel the air flow is about the same. If anything I have more airflow coming in from the rear. Need to figure out how to make it flow the other way

I love the new shifter. Very smooth, 5th is way easier to find. I need to figure out why the reverse lock out isn’t working. I’m can shift into reverse regardless of it’s position.

On my drive the car felt sluggish. Only making 13psi of boost. Took it back home and did some looking around. Thought I may have had a boost leak. Then I stumbled on one plug not plugged in. Well would you look at that. It’s for the vacuum distribution system. Went for another drive and boom 22psi. Cold air makes for good power but cold tires don’t make for good traction. She was a handful

Update on installing the old clutch. It held strong with no rolling issues when sitting still with the clutch in. I think the original problem was it had a bad TOB. Here’s to fingers crossed

Okay so my fear with the Spec clutch happened. It will not disengage with the pedal. The have bled the line both with vacuum and manually. I’m now going to order a new clutch. I call ZZP after searching the forum and was told the only way to go is their stage 5 clutch master. It’s a rigged d clutch which seams way over kill. They said the weight doesn’t matter. What is everyone else running?

I put a GMPP clutch in one of my LSJ engines, with the stock flywheel.
In the other LSJ, I have a Clutch Masters stage 3, with a ZZP aluminum flywheel.

Why did ZZP say the ONLY way to go is stage 5? Is your goblin race only? Do you want that grabby of a clutch?
My goblin is mostly street, but I do enjoy racing it.

No I’m just running 3 bar maps with a tune. He said that’s just what they recommended for all LNF. I want something drivable. Not super grabby but I do drive the car hard every time it goes out.

Seems very overkill for what you may need. I would look at the stage 3 CM and start there. likely that's where I'll go, GMPP clutches are hard to come by now days. I don't know anything about the Mpact clutches that Gtstorey posted.
