I have a stock LNF with a tune. Love have fast the power comes in. Feels like there is no turbo lag. I’d like to make a bit more power but don’t want to sacrifice throttle response. Would the ZFR 6758 be the better option?

I don't think you can go wrong with either one of the zfr turbos. I do think the 6758 did hit full boost just a tad sooner tho. When i had one turbo lag felt non existent. It spooled to around 24psi at about 3800 rpm on

The magic of the twin scroll on the K04 is designed for no turbo lag. The smaller, split passages in the stock exhaust manifold spin the turbo up with zero hesitation. The cylinders 1 & 4 pair on the 'larger' scroll and cylinders 2 & 3 pair on the 'smaller' scroll in the turbine housing. With the 1-3-4-2 firing order the exhaust pulses are paired 360 degrees apart.

The small exhaust passages and tiny turbine wheel work well at low to medium RPMs, but peaks out at about 5500 RPM. Spinning any higher doesn't create more boost, only excess heat in the charge air.

The T04 doesn't utilize the twin scroll turbine, but does use the same relative diameter of exhaust manifold outlet - minus the divider channel - so it will bolt directly to the stock cast iron exhaust flange. A common modification to the exhaust manifold is to cut the divider channel back and blend it for better airflow.

Thanks, it's an lnf with a zfr7163 and all the zzp goodies. Zzp pistons & rods, zzp ported head and 82lb valve springs, nuetral balance shafts, ati damper and on e85. Makes about 480 on 24 psi

480 on 24psi is wild even on e85. My tuning will be done in a couple weeks, wondering what I'll see on the Dyno.
