I'll have to ask my dad. When I first got it street legal I drove it to his place and we noticed it squeaking. He put some WD40-esque spray lubricant on it and it hasn't squeaked since. It wasn't WD-40 though. Might have been chain lube lol.

Wet lube works, but is generally not advised because of dirt issues and potential incompatibility with the working elements of the joint.
I've had 3 of my heims loosen up and start clunking. I bought higher quality ones from a local race shop. Replaced in pairs. Have not had those start making noise.

Tenacious oil - stuff is unbelievable. It’s is a bike oil. 1 bottle will last a lifetime. I put 1-2 drops on my heims 2 years ago and they have been silent since. This stuff is a medium viscosity stinky oil.
