I'm getting ready to tackle this. I've redone the engine harness already and did some work on the headlight harness. For the Main harness, should I use the new (September 2019) videos and then switch to the earlier (December 2016) for the rest of the information, like the thinning of the dash etc.? With a base LS model, there isn't a lot to do on the first two videos. Thanks for any help.

Use the new videos, they are the complete process.

I'm on the DF site, in the Forum section. Parts 9 and 10 are the ones from 2016. I can do that, I just wanted to make sure with new ones for some parts and old ones for other, there wouldn't be a problem. Thanks. I'll start with the . . .o_O OK, wait, I just found a bunch more under the Support section. I bet those are the new ones. Thank you jayrolls, for helping a rookie out.

I made that mistake of trying to use new and old videos. Don’t do that. There are new videos for all of the wiring. I feel like when I look they are on the DF site. But go to YouTube they are for sure there. That’s where I watched them from.

I found it easier to use the videos as posted on the YouTube channel as they could be ordered based on the dates they were uploaded, so it put the latest build videos, to include the harness videos, in the correct order. It was harder for me to navigate the videos on the DF website.

Are you building a auto or manual car? I ask because if you are doing a manual, the previous advice is spot on. For the auto transmission, some of the original videos show the extension of the shifter interlock wires getting extended 18". I missed it and extended them in the car. Not a big deal.
