Swaying issue.

Hello all,

We finally got our Goblin street legal and are able to drive it.
We’re having issue with front swaying in speeds over 60 mph.
We had it professionally aligned. Car drives and handles fine when below 60 but as we speed up, 65-75, car’s front end becomes dangerously unstable.
any thoughts?

Do you have a print out of the alignment by chance? Also do you have donor struts or coilovers?
We are using coilovers front and back. Alignment printout attached.

I agree, it looks like on the printout that the rear tires are towed out.
I don't know if that is the problem but it would be something to check.

It's hard to read the different styles of printouts. Looking at it closely and studying in, I think the rear is toed-in as it should be. The image in the middle of the page is just an icon and not an actual representation of the measurement. The BEFORE was negative number and the AFTER is a positive number but the icon is the same.

I found it hard to read my own and the odd ways they describe the numbers and the color coding.

What shape are the tires in? If you rub your hand on the tread, do you feel any waves, or saw tooth profile?
I have had cars with new alignments have pulling issues, that new tires fixed.

I always think of a bicycle front wheel when thinking of caster...positive caster (the bicycle front wheel is forward of the handlebars/forks) is standard. If the front wheel would be behind the handlebars/forks, the bicycle would be VERY unstable...this would be negative caster.

Only way I can think of caster and it make sense...hope this helps!
