I'm curious why you made the opening in your front lower panel? I assume to exhaust the radiator heat, but isn't there enough opening around the front suspension to do that? I've also made a fully enclosed lower panel; wondering if I need to cut a similar hole.I modified a Saturn Vue steering boot I had from the bone yard to fit the hole in the front firewall. It closed up that opening well, IMO. I also made a front lower panel for the underneath.

Heat, cold and do some proper rest as(I feel sure) you were told! Consider a inversion(decompression) table? A few min a day can do wonders in some cases.I had the Goblin weighed today. 1560 lbs. Right about what I guessed with a full tank of fuel. All loaded up in my enclosed trailer for taking to paint on the 14th. I wretched my back this week. Getting in and out of the Goblin was not fun, LOL.Hopefully I will recover quickly. Thanks to all that helped with advice and encouragement.

But your methodology gets points in my book! You painted the footwell cover! That's dedication to a project there. I'm planning to just make mine out of repurposed real estate signs. I made a block off plate but I think it needs a bit more.
Post up some more photos and info about that '35 PU in the Other Builds forum. Love that color combo and the 'salt flat' wheels.Jason (MX184) came by to pick up engine, trans, axles and water pump. Really nice young man who has a NA Auto Goblin he built himself. We went in my 35 P/U to see my goblin at the paint shop. I left him drive the 35 back to my home. Nice to meet fellow Goblin owners in person.
