Where is my order?

Ark :D
Good to know! What are the thoughts on replacing the clutch while the engine is out? Do they need much replacing?

Whatever's in mine is still good, with 78k on the original donor and another 6k on the Goblin. I don't know if it's a stock clutch or aftermarket, nor do I know if it was ever replaced in its lifetime.

But if you're gonna replace it, do it while the engine is out, for sure.

Depends upon the miles and driving habits of the previous owner(s) - if it came from a Racer Boi then it definitely needs replacing.

Other things to consider replacing is the timing chain set and cleaning the laminova cores in the supercharger (you did say this is an SC build correct?).

Excellent. It is Supercharged so that's a good idea. I don't know too much about the cobalt's history before I got it. Someone said there is a viewport to check the clutch condition?

Verify all the parts that are in the kit. I will say that when I missed a part or two they were very quick to ship out. It was around this time I ordered last year and issues were resolved quick.

Bike project??? -ears perk up-
Built this single seater with a ninja 250 engine. Didnt have the power I would have liked. Sold it a few weeks ago.

That’s awesome. If you still had it I would say to swap with a 300 or 400. 300 are everywhere now so they are cheap. 400 would cost a little more, but still doable. Of course there is always the hyabusa option

Thanks. I didn’t know what it would weigh till it was done and it just turned out to be too heavy. I also liked the idea of the engine being carbed instead of dealing with the computers.

Fuel injection on (most) bikes is basically equivalent to 90s era car fuel injection. They are a very simple system. I’d have to look at weights, but 250 and 300 ninjas are probably very close to identical. I’m familiar with the 300 ninjas that’s what I track/race.

The frame was probably 500 lbs by the time I finished. The new owners can make it faster. Lol

Does anyone know if the kit is always shipped with the same company? I'm a month or so since my kit was getting packed up and I haven't heard anything yet. I'm wondering if the shipping company has tried to reach out to me but it went to a spam folder or something?

Mine was shipped by Stewart Transport in that factory 5 trailer that Ark is talking about.

gotcha. my phone is set to only receive calls from contacts so I have no idea if they've tried to call me. I've been having a hard time getting info from DF about the shipping progress so I don't know who is shipping it. If I did i could call them to make sure they have all the info they need.

If you're not-recognized calls are not coming through because your only taking calls from known contacts and you're not looking in your spam folder for anything about shipping your Goblin, that's half of the equation on your side of responsibility. You've complained multiple times about not being able to get in direct contact with someone at DF - but calling them daily or weekly to ask where your kit is at is a little overboard. Get some patience and wait it out like everyone else has done, it will get to you at some point.
