V1 KIT CONTENTS

Goblin V1 Kit Contents

Everything you need to build a Goblin V1 using a Chevrolet Cobalt or Pontiac G5 donor. The kit focuses on assembly and ships with pre-drilled panels, pre-bent brake lines, labeled hardware, and model-specific parts. You bring the donor components and finishing items like fluids and paint.

See the Donor Overview for compatible trims and a parts checklist.

Packed In Three Stages

You can choose to receive your Goblin V1 in stages so you can build in logical steps or you can choose to receive everything at once. Stage 1 mounts and runs the powertrain. Stage 2 gets the chassis on its wheels with steering and brakes. Stage 3 finishes the car for street or track with body panels, lighting, and optional equipment.

Stage 1 Overview

Stage 1 centers on the uncoated chassis and the parts required to mount and run the donor powertrain. It includes the fuel system, cooling components, pre-drilled floor and firewall panels, and pre-bent steel brake lines that install early in the build.

With these installed the car sits on its wheels and is technically drivable but we recommend waiting for Stage 3 before hitting the road.

Stage 3 Overview

Stage 3 completes the look and function based on your goals. Street builds typically add hood and side panels, lights, mirrors, and windscreen. Track builds may skip lighting and focus on weight and performance parts.

All Stage 3 items are optional and can be added when you first order or later. If you plan to use large body panels, consider shipping them with Stage 1 to minimize freight.

Kit Contents FAQ

The kit includes the chassis, suspension components, fuel and cooling systems, pre-drilled panels, pre-bent brake lines, steering components, hardware packs, and model-specific parts. Body panels, lighting, and other options are available. See the Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3 tables on this page for exact contents by stage and donor trim.

You provide the donor engine, transaxle, wiring and ECU, pedal box, cluster, hubs, and a few interior controls. You also supply finishing items and consumables like fluids, battery, tires, and paint or powder coat. See the Donor Overview for the full checklist.

Body panels and lights are optional parts of Stage 3. You can add them when ordering or purchase later. For large panels, consider shipping them with Stage 1 to save freight.

Yes. Items like tunnel caps and clutch plumbing differ by donor type. The tables note which trims receive each part so you get what fits your donor.

Yes. Hardware packs are clearly labeled to speed up assembly and reduce hunting for parts. Check out our assembly videos to see the hardware packs in action.

No. Most builders use common metric hand tools, a jack and stands, a torque wrench, and an engine hoist or lift during donor teardown. See the Build Process to get an idea of the tools you need.

You can do either. Many customers take Stage 1 first to start assembly, then add Stage 2 and Stage 3 as space and budget allow.

Yes. Stage 3 items and many upgrades can be purchased later. If you want large body panels, ask about bundling them with Stage 1 to optimize freight.
