Got some varnish, but doesn't look bad for 90k. A little bit of work and it will be purring like a lion. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

rod bearings and main bearings looked great heads need a good dose of oven cleaner, lots of carbon.

assembly is going well, just slow and tedious to make it look nice. I am going to install the transmission separate it was impossible to get it in there as 1 unit. Need to finish bellhousing runout measurements then the trans can go in. the heater flow control valve is inside the car that was a smart move.

tight fit but there is an air gap between these maybe 1/8"

my coil pack mounting design came out sweet

I put an oil pressure gauge on my turbo feed line - on each side of my digital dash I will have analog turbo boost and turbo oil pressure

putting on alternator and steering pump and cooler lines this weekend and then engine bay is 100% done

to do list:
- finish last of dash wiring
- install dash and heater
- add fluids
- set up holley ECU
- get arrested for reckless driving

I learned the hard way that my harmonic balancer and my water pump were standard Corvette spacing like I wanted but the Holley accessory drive kit is middle and long spacing only. Now I have to swap out the water pump and put on a different harmonic balancer :-(

But engine bay wiring and vacuum hoses are 100% done.

found a neat flywheel holding tool for the balancer bolt.

this is another F my life post. I am so close to finishing but I found out I have a fractured vertibrae (pars defect). yay another surgery, I already have a titanium disc. At least I will have the car fully assembled, all that's left to do is add fluids, tune holley terminator, and start it up.
