I wonder if this one could be installed upside down to make it difficult to pick the lock but still get the key in there?

Resurrecting this thread to see what some may have done to deter theft and/or vandalism? With more Goblins hitting the road, there are more chances that someone will want one that doesn't belong to them.

I have Apple Air Tags very well hidden on all my vehicle's, but if you take my Goblin I will look for you, I will find you, and I will lock you up.

And yes I have disabled the speaker on the Air Tags.

Maybe a little overkill, but on my Stalker I have a battery master switch (under dash), a toggle for computer, toggle for fuel pump, ignition on/off, push button start. There is also a hidden - keyed - ignition switch for disabling start.

There is some truth to that - having a manual transmission will dissuade some would-be thieves.

An Apple Air Tag will at least tell you where the vehicle is if it does get stolen. Hide it in a place super hard to find, but you can easily access to change the battery once a year.
