How does the ati compare to the stock pulley?

How does the ati compare to the stock pulley?

The inner face of the pulley to the end of the shaft are the same which is now leading me to believe that either the cover is bowed out or I've got a fubared crank. At first I was measuring the overall length but the ATI shaft and pulley are wider.

I guess this is where I was heading. It sounds like something isn't correct with the ATI. Or is this a non-original crank?
