Coil to low to fit wider tire

Rttoys
I can measure mine, but I believe I’m less than an inch away from mine. As hard as I have pushed at autocross, if I haven’t hit, I’d say no one would. Yours looks closer though. A gopro and test drives would tell if it’s at danger or not

@Scott Geyer if you are not familiar, this image explains wheel offsets:

wheel-offset.jpg

Most "regular car" wheels like mine have a more positive offset and will need spacers to clear the rear suspension, particularly with 18" or larger wheels and even moreso on Goblins with the stock Cobalt struts on the rear. This is because the larger back-spacing makes it more likely that the wheel or tire will contact the suspension.

With lower positive offset, zero offset, or negative offset wheels, the concern is lessened.

My wheels have a 45 offset. That is 1.77 inches. I have 1.5" spacers installed on mine and the clearance isn't super-close, but it's close.

Your wheels have a 30 offset. That is only 1.18 inches, more than a half inch less. Your wheels are 9", so that should be close to another inch saved.

I think you'd be fine with 1/2" spacers. I'd definitely go with 265 tires though, I have 255's on my 9" fronts and 275's on my 10" rears.

Guys. Went over to my local tire store and he wasn’t familiar with little longer lugs to accommodate a half inch spacer. Would anybody know where i would be able to order longer nuts when i find out what size spacers i will need
