V1 Cold air intake options

Just checking to see what intake system people are running on their goblins. Mine is a 2008 LS so I’m just seeing if there are any decent plug and play intake kits that won’t break the bank out there

My kit, 06 SS/SC, came with everything I needed as far as the intake is concerned.

To me a cold air intake is a high flow filter in a housing that mounts in the car to receive cool air from outside the engine compartment. That said, my kit came with a high flow air filter. Anything else to make it "cold air" will have to be custom made.

You’re right. It must be part of stage 2 as i haven’t received it yet

Placement of the intake (air filter) can make a big difference on IAT's. But, some have had an issue with the non-uniform flow of air into the MAF.

Mine is a different year model donor than your - '09 turbo. Here is where I ended up with using just the stock components a little differently:
