V1 Fenix's Goblin #461 - 2010 Base Auto

Fenix Nexen
im thinking about sticking with the stock seats as my waist is 48 inches, is there a way to get a corbeau fx1 to fit me or nah?

45~48 is my pant size, is that what the seats reference or is it hip width?

Don’t know for sure on what the sizes mean, but there’s several other race seats out there that are all shapes and sizes. You just have to adapt it to the goblin.

here are the numbers from the corbeau website on FX1.
  • Fitment (FX1 Pro)Fits up to 36" Waist
  • Fitment (FX1)Fits up to 38" Waist
  • Fitment (FX1 Wide)Fits up to 42" Waist
I think if you want to find a seat that fits in the goblin then it probably can't have a ton of bolstering. something more like a Corbeau Moab it says 40" waist but I don't see why it wouldnt work.

There is someone that built a goblin with the Moab’s and said they fit.

The brake booster hose will connect to a vacuum source between the throttle body and head, so eventually to the intake. I don't know if any of the Cobalt Ecotecs had the vacuum pump like some of the later ecotecs had.

If no answer by the time I get home, I'll check the service manual. But it will still be several hours.
