V1 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Ground

Pin #1 "Sensor Low Reference" on fuel rail pressure sensor connector is not getting solid ground. Thinking about bypassing the PCM/ECM and making the connection directly to a frame ground.

Appreciate if anyone could share any experience with this.

What are you basing the "not getting solid ground" on? Unless you have a reason to expect the ECM, the low reference is considered a cleaner ground for the ecm.

Based on my interpretation of the grounding configuration in the ECM, it is perfectly fine to bypass the faulty ground directly to the frame/B negative.

Sure wish the rest of my long list of issues with this engine were so simple......9 weeks now and still can't get it going.

A college course to spell out what I've encountered....If I took a couple of days to write it all down, probably nobody gonna read it....

One of my many problems are the DTC codes P2146 and P2155. I've traced it back to the ECM and have been going back and forth with the people at Flagship with the replacement ECM and about fed up with them.

Finally after 6 weeks of dealing with them, planning to send the ECM back and regroup.
