It has arrived ... and ****... it is smalllllll .. I'm glad I went extended street after seeing the full frame. Now to find all the parts and find storage for it all.
1. Got the frame and everything big to powder coater.
2. Got the valve cover back from stripping the messed up powder coating. Had to have a coater chemical strip it. Drilled out the baffle cover and then was going to tap some new holes in the valve cover to reinstall the baffles. YUP drilled a through the cover. Ordered new used valve cover
3. Painted new valve cover (black), brake booster, and pedal box. Decided to not powder coat valve cover purple and brake calipers purple as the whole idea was that if I wanted to change colors, I could do so easily. Chemical stripping the valve cover and brakes each time seemed like a bad idea.
4. Decided to order a reman rack instead of replacing seals on my old one as it was leaking during storage.
5. Somehow lost a master cylinder
6. Waiting on powder coating to get done so I can start
That's the first thought from everyone when they see the kit for the first time. Keep in mind, you aren't see it complete with wheels and tires, etc. "It gets bigger, I swear!"
