Manual trans and space around legs

This has also been one of my concerns all along. From the video footage of that auto driving around the track, I really think you'd have issues having a manual and try to shift it with comfort and not blocking or bumping into the shifter with your leg. I could be wrong though, but things looks a bit tight. I'd love to see some video footage of a guy rowing gears in this car.

P2, the green framed track Goblin in the track videos, is a manual car. Ken didn't do much shifting at the track because the tires we have on P2 are far too tall so the gearing is way off. This meant he spent a long time in 3rd.
My dad and I are not small people and we don't have problems with shifter or foot room. We've never been in a Super 7 but we've been told that we have a lot more room in our car.
I'll get a video on the main hoop looking down toward the shifter and pedals so that you can see how the fit is.

That would be great to see some video footage of the manual in action.
It would be nice to see a pic from the drivers view too...I'm wondering if that A-pillar is drivers line of site in the race halo frame.
