I went with 2 stage and had a lot of parts coated Texas charged me $1325.00 and they did frame and big panels only all the rest was $1250.00 including a sub frame and over 50 pieces from local Bursnville guy I found on Facebook.
The powder coating was by far the most exspensive single thing I have done 2 stage wasn’t cheap.

I got 3 quotes. For the frame only, 2 of them $1200 and 1 at $450. The difference? Sandblasting and the cheaper only offered Cardinal powder, so no Illusion colors. The subframe alone was $250 at the higher end shops. It was motivation enough to get the friends oven up and running and do my own small parts. We are painting until we have everything just like we want it and then we will powder coat. Best of both worlds. Downside. 2 builds.

My frame and misc. bits cost a total of $385, and it's a bang-up job in two different colors. I guess it just varies state-by-state, company by company.

Edit: Crest Grey (Nardo Grey) & Black Cast for everything non-frame related.

I chose Tinsley Custom Coatings like Lechlis's build. They're only an hour and a half from me an their pricing is half or less than others so I am more than pleased

That's just sand blast and primer. I'm going Crest Grey and Black Cast for everything else.

The panels are going to probably be black with red striping.

Oh, that looks niiiccce. And you can weld and then touch up if you need to. Do you mind me asking how much they charged? They wanted $600 here in Vegas for paint. We did it ourselves. Yours is much nicer.

$850 for the whole enchilada I think, everything metal is being coated. I handed him more parts than we originally discussed so we'll see if he honors the original price or if he adds to it. The dude is extremely nice and texts me pictures of the progress.

DF's shop wanted 800 for just the frame, two other shops near by wanted 1400 for just the frame, so 850 for everything metal on the car is amazing I think.

$850 for powder is a great price. For some reason I thought you were going paint.

Yeah, the powder goes on fast and easy with the right equipment. 5 min after the cure you can call the customer.
