Parking brake

Due to the construction of the Goblin, there is no parking brake on the car. Does anyone have any ideas on how one could be added? I was thinking of something like this simply for hooliganism. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HYDRAULIC-HORIZONTAL-DRIFT-RALLY-E-BRAKE-RACING-PARKING-HANDBRAKE-LEVER-BLACK-/252005400129

Some states (Kansas? I can't remember but I had one on my Stalker V6) require a mechanical parking brake.

A system that keeps brake fluid pressurized to keep the brakes on is not accepted (i.e. you press on the brake pedal and then pull (push?) a plunger to hold the pressure) since the system will lose pressure over time.

There are mechanical brake systems that can be retrofitted, example below:

I carry 2 bricks. The best thing with this is when I am ambitious - nearly never - I carry 8 bricks and I get front and rear parking brakes! Even a Bugatti does not offer that!

Bruce from New York has to have a parking brake to pass New York registration requirements. We plan on using a spot brake like the one Paul linked to. This spot brake will be attached to the rear knuckle and a cable will route into the driver compartment.

This is something we've brainstormed about but haven't sat down to draw out. We will do the actual design work in the coming months.

I don't know about the cobalt but i use the disc brakes off of explorers all the time when modding classics. The brakes have a drum setup inside the disc rotor. You can probably set your brakes up with something like that pretty easily.
