Oof I don't know if I can justify all that with a foam cast block, If I feel the need for more power or higher rpm it will be a gen3 block and after I blow this one up
Had a convo with Ryan D and Al at zzp and they agreed with my pov that this is a toy being pushed farther than it was engineered for, It will have the crap beat out of it and it will eventually fail, at that time I will strengthen the remaining failure points but for now a max stock turbo e85 tune it is

In asking if I'm missing anything I meant more along the lines of "common failures" like cam solenoids or water pump etc things that are a pain with it in the car or things that are cheap insurance so to speak

Not sure how proud of this I am but it works and the price was right. I'm a tool addict for sure but it's hard to justify some one time use tools.

I was trying to see if any stickers with PNs were visible on the fuel rail on my LNF. Unfortunately no, the sound reduction foam has everything covered up and I'm not able to tear into this to dig around for it, sorry. :( Maybe someone else?

That is five kinds of excellent!! Beauty and function, all rolled into one! AND at Harbor Freight prices!
Best part is the only thing I had to buy was the lifting eyes $10 amazon, everything else was extra spare or still in proper order (extensions & adapters)

Saturday I made a last minute emergency run to U Pull-it for a replacement keeper.... I know it isn't in the engine but the black hole of my garage swallowed it while I was digging its twin out of the oil pan.
I live 30 min away and left with 1 hour to closing time. I pulled 6 keepers a spare coil and engine hoist brackets and got out in under 15 min.
When I got home I finished the valves and put the kids to bed without an air compressor running in the garage all night and decided to throw the cams in.
After that why not the timing set and valve cover, next thing I knew I watched daylight savings kick in and it was 4am when I went to bed.
Kids swim and cleaning house Sunday slowed me down but didn't stop me. I cleaned a significant mess in the garage and got my first ethanol sample from a local station, It looks about e68 right now. It may be over a week before I have any time to turn a wrench again and I got an e-mail from @Adam that the rest of my kit is on its way! I need to finish the powertrain so I can clean up the garage for other parts
Spring break is coming up and I will have to get the kids out in the garage helping.
Until then I am paused here

Engine is going back together! not much left to do but I may need some help with the vacuum circuit, and two coolant lines I haven't been able to find much on AllData and I'm confident prev. owner made significant changes to it. Anybody with an SS/TC mind following a few lines for me?

Mainly I am looking at this mess her

and these coolant lines. Does the large T fitting attach to the overflow tank? Where do I run the line that comes from the banjo bolt/Turbo feed lines?

AllData also referenced a vacuum pump mounted under the intake. I have no pump, is this something I will need to order?

30 seconds after posting I find a vacuum circuit diagram originally posted by the @Desert Sasqwatch...

That little line is hard to follow at the moment.

The coolant Tee goes up to the coolant tank.

The gold barb, that goes to the brake booster if I'm calling it the right thing. That gets the 3/8" line that runs through the tunnel allllllll the way up front.

last one is the banjo bolt that feeds the turbo coolant, where does the hardline that runs across the valve cover connect?
