Aftermarket Seats

I haven't built one at this point but I did a little bit of searching and planned on getting an off brand that looked similar to the Corbeau seats that can be shipped with the goblin. I dont have first hand experience with any knock offs but, I think the cost savings could be worth it.

Good Afternoon,
Bought a pair of Corbeau seats for the “BLUE” Goblin. I do like them the thing that is nice at least for the standard length Goblin they have an additional mount (basically between your shoulder blades) that ties right into the rear frame. Before you use that mount the seat does flex with just the 4 bottom mounts, rock solid after the 5th upper mount is used. Nate’s Goblin is using a set of NR>G innovations seats little bit cheaper then the Corbeau seats look basically the same they don’t have that upper mount (will need to make one for them).

I love my Corbeau’s. I specifically wanted vinyl seats and that significantly limited my choices. It’s not like cheap couch vinyl, it’s like motorcycle seat vinyl.

My opinion... Wheels, tires, and seats. The three things you should never skimp on with the Goblin.

I plan to use the Kirkey 47500 intermediate road race seats, as I scored a stupid deal on the covers for them.
I'm using the Kirkey 47500 too, nice solid lightweight seats. They're really snug for my 36" waist, but will work OK. The bigger issue was I couldn't easily use the DF seat mounts due to the Kirkey seat shape. I thought the Kirkey mounts would be better, but they needed to be cut-down too. I also wanted to provide for fore/aft adjustability and purchased airline seat tracks and mounts. Should be pretty neat, I'm almost done.

Could you please post a picure of that upper mount?
