I like the look of the intercooler. How come you didn't angle it to follow the slope of the frame?

Better volume of air across it. It could be angled but it's only 7" high and at an angle it would only see 5" of air. That and I don't have a fan on it.

Our IATs went for 150 degrees (under normal driving) to 95-100 under normal and hard driving. It'll never be ambient, but it's close.

Forgive my ignorance, but what type of intercooling setup does the SC Goblin kit originally come with? Or does it not come with anything?

Comes with a Type 112 heatexchanger (10"x10"x2"), 5ft hard lines, fan, hose, fittings and clamps.
And mounting brackets with bolts.

Can you post a few pics of the intercooler hooked up? I like this idea and I'd like to see some examples. Are you worried that the diameter of the inlet/outlet piping is too small?

Also, any part numbers for the type 112 heat exchanger? I can't find anything on it on the web.

Ok, so it looks like its the exact same setup that the TC Goblin kit uses for the additional liquid to air cooler. I know I was told that once but I had forgotten. Are the tunnel lines PVC?

I'll get some pictures of the plumbing when the car gets back home. In the meantime I'll post links to the fittings, etc. that I used.

That is the same heat exchanger (cooler) I had used on mine. I did change the orientation of the mounts for my application.

Kaleb took a friend from SkillsUSA (where he first learned about the Goblin last year) to prom last night. She's from a different school so he went to hers last week and last night she went to his. His goal all winter was either to be able to take the Goblin or the Corvette to prom. The Corvette needed tires really bad, one of them developed a large bulge and was very unsafe, and dad was too cheap and lazy to get a new set. It took all winter to convince dad to finally pony up for the new tires.

He drove the Corvette for her prom since the Goblin wasn't licensed yet. This week he drove the Corvette for dinner and then later swapped out for the Goblin. Admit it guys, wouldn't you have loved to be able to ride it style to your prom? I'm living vicariously through him!
