I saw that too and considered it. I then saw Michigan and was worried about rust. Your opinion, would that amount of mileage worry you?
Not afraid just have never done it and don’t know what all is involved.Depends on your goals ya know? I've torn my apart for mods every winter. If you put it together as is and you're not afraid to give it a refresh later down the road it would be a decent option. If you want to "set it and forget it" then I would go lower miles
Its an RPD car. It appears to have 3bar map sensors, so it may have a tune, wheels, lower miles and NOT a salt belt car.
Found this tater on copart.
Any issue with having the rear end that damaged? Only thing I can think of is if it was struck sitting still.
Yep, the cars that came with 3-bar MAPs and the GM Performance badging also have a modest 290-hp tune from the factory.
If you go with the rusty donor I can source subframes in the south easily. I don't have any idea about shipping prices or methods but I'd ship one if it's what you need. Being close to both I-85 and I-75 in GA I am on the way to FLA! (On I-75 I usually meet folks at Summit Racing in McDonough GA parking lot. Very easy to find!) I find bits for Goblin builders, as a hobby. I'm not in the used parts biz.****That’s a very good point.
I think it was much more than just boost? Reconfigurable Performance Display (RPD) - Instrument Panel - Chevrolet Cobalt Owners Manual - CheviGuide"RPD" refers to the factory boost gauge display that came with some 2009 and 2010 turbo cars.
www.easyhaul.comBidding starts Thursday afternoon. Does anyone have a recommendation for shipping services? Car is located in Louisiana and I got an estimation from Uship for $900-$1000. Unfortunately it’s too far from my house and would cost me just as much if not more with time away from work to pick it up.
Uship was a tad cheaper. I will keep looking around though.www.easyhaul.com
