How to use Search

I always seem to have issues searching for key words, what am I doing wrong.

lets use the following as an example, here is a post from yesterday:

==============================
When shopping for steering linkages & components, I'm a little confused by all the FE1, FE3, FE5, etc notes on these parts on Rock Auto.
I need both inner and outer tie rods, but I'm having a hard time truly confirming a legit match because I'm dumb.
I also vaguely remember replacing my front outer tie rods with ones provided by DF, I don't want to get the wrong part.

=============================

Using the above as a test, lets say I want to search for both words "steering linkage" and the results are the following, one post with just the word linkage in it

============================
Something in the works.
Winner! Deal done and car at it's new home today! When I say deal, it was an offer I couldn't refuse. 1983 RX7, 13B, 9500rpm screamer. Fully caged, watts linkage rear end, fuel cell, list goes on. Part of the deal is the previous owner kept certain parts for his street car. Carb, header...

I get different results when I search steering linkage as compared to steering linkages.

I also have trouble searching for things sometimes.

Occasionally I will use Google to search the forum as well, by entering my search followed by site:dfkitcar.com, like [steering linkage site:dfkitcar.com]. It doesn't seem to be as bothered by things like "linkage" vs "linkages".

Another tactic I'll use is to search for more generic terms on the forum and then use my browser search function Ctrl+F to search for more specific terms that may or may not be part of that first search. I was recently searching for information on tie rod ends and it wouldn't let me use the word 'inner' so I searched 'tie rod end' and then used the browser search to find the word 'inner' in the returned results.
