I do not know if these will help as I have the engine cover bolted on and can only take photo from underneath

The first is taken from drivers side the second is from passengers side.

Use two bolts to mount to the mount behind the drivers seat in engine compartment mount so that it cradles the tank the spring goes over it to hold it in place. It sits higher than the old clip style so is easier to burp

Okay for those of you that have not drove your Goblin yet do you know what you are missing? It is like a bad addiction once you've drove it once you just can't get off your mind. So you think another short run and that will fix this craving. Nope sorry Charlie it just makes it worse so another drive you go in hopes that little poop eating grin will go away. Nope now its ear to ear. Let's not talk about that far from straight road you just burt through. Ya I know its my addiction and nobody else would understand.... did I just see a pig flying over there

I had been looking at one set and actually had them in the cart when I seen these in the suggested section and so the rest is history and when we went back to see if we could get a second set for a RX7 that we have could not get them so once again when I looked for you..... same thing. They are a no name seat but they are so comfy and first seat I have found to fit a little guy like me.

I have the same seat, just full black rather than red/black, and they're great. Just be prepared for some fun with mounting them.

They are a great seat. You had made reference to mounting them i had ordered the mounts from ebay but used them only for a template to build mine from the stock cobalt runner. About an hour I had made a heavier version and do not have a loose seat and I get over the center bar with about 1/4 inch cleance.

Okay I went and done it again. No photos of how I fixed the problem but I will do my best to explain it.

Build went great, drives went great, until................. Steering got glitchy or should I say more like it would lock coming out of turns would have power steer then would not. So from past experience with a Malibu I knew to run to the grounds. So I went to the ground for the power steering and no problems there everything there including the new car stereo no problems everything but the power steering seemed to work great. In all my tests I had a good enough ground to say that I had a ground. So went a bit deeper because we ground to the peddle box I decided to check my conection between the powder coated chassis and the painted peddle box. I bet you have guessed it by now. Please make sure that all powder coating is removed from at least one bolt. As I now had a mark from the washer and bolt head I used a deburring bit on my dremel and cleaned the powder coat and I happened to have a short ground strap that I ran from the top bolt down to the grounds on the peddle box and now my steering issue is resolved. I had a good enough ground to make test lights work and my ohm meter sing but not enough to handle the load of the power steering under load. Those of us that had a double dipped powder coat will run into these issue most likely a bit more as the powder coat is twice as thick. So with problem solved our Goblin is out turning heads once again.

I always wondered about grounding to the pedal box for that reason. I made my grounds extra long and ground off some powder coat on the top clutch pedal bolt and secured them all there with conductive grease.

Pedal box is an okay ground as long as we make sure that we make a good connection with the chassis. With the grounding location it is easy to reach even with the hood on

okay I have been using my Goblin to help me through a great loss in my life so sorry there have not been many post but you might like to see how wife and I spend some quality Goblin time now.
