If y'all cant see the difference... lol, I can explain it.

I cut the much wider automatic brake pedal down to fit the profile of the manual brake pedal. My pedal box was ruined when I removed it from my donor, someone had taken some sort of saw to the manual pedal box and cut one of the mounting corners off rendering the manual pedal box useless. Easy fix overall. Painted. Swapped over the pedal cover to the newly cut down pedal and we're good to go.

I still like my Timbs.

You still need to relocate the brake fluid reservoir. Here's a pic of mine from around that point in my build. Not the best pic, but it gets the point across:

Just pulled it out of the box today. I feel like Im either watching the videos out of order or watching the wrong videos.

Ark :D
I don't think I can help you there. I built my car mostly using the "new" videos, which are now the "old new" videos. There's "old" videos, which are now the "old old" videos, and there's "new new" videos that have come out after my car was done. Confused yet?

The "old old" video series was based on a Cobalt LS donor.

The "old new" videos were based on a Cobalt SS/TC donor and had all the wiring at the beginning of the series.

I have not watched any of the "new new" videos, but as I understand it, they are based on all three donor types (NA 2.2, SS/SC, and SS/TC), going into three different-color frames.

Confused yet? Doc says, "take apart 2 cobalts and call me in the morning."

No, just... no. Ive dismantled a SS/TC sedan that I gave the parts lot away to another member, whom of which now has a running and driving goblin and now Ive dismantled the donor for this goblin. Im done dismantling cobalts. I dont want to be caught on the ZZP wanted list for repeat offenders.

Joe, I'm only slightly kidding! I've pulled apart several Cobalts, an Ion, 2HHR's and spent many fun days in parts yards observing the after effects of other's efforts in wrecking and actually disassembling particular systems in these cars. I'm down to two functional/complete units in my inventory and to be exact since I started this project I have driven only one Cobalt! It has no clutch action, so I put it in gear, press the worthless clutch to the floor to fool the neutral switch and start it up! I'm not sure moving it around the yard qualifies as "driving". I'm sure in the past I've driven some Cobalts. My parents had a 2010XFE DAD loved and I feel sure between 2005 and ~12 I rented at least one! I can't wait to actually DRIVE this thing!!

Got the clutch pedal in.
K22D - 3/16" allen, 7/16" wrench
Got the clutch master cylinder in.
Clutch line into the master. Definitely had to massage the hard line to fit in place nicely.

Where does one find instructions for relocating the brake resevior? I see a photo album in a thread where there is a machined block with brass fittings/nipples and extra hardware, but this is not in the stage1 hardware box. Is this because its not part of stage1?
