Novice Race tire was the class I was in because I was going to be on a Hoosier slick. But I decided to stay on my 200tw toyos instead the night before. And you're right, ready or not E-Mod here I come. Any recommendations on setup? The last run where I actually drove the car hard it seemed to under steer mid corner thru exit.

Are you running the rear swaybar from the Cobalt? Adding the 'easy ride' 18mm swaybr from any non-SS donor will help your car turn into the corners by adding some over steer. But this will also require some tire pressure changes.

Tire pressure down. I’m running 11.5f and 15r on my toyo r888r’s. Front shock adjusters all the way up. Rear comfort ride sway bar helps too. To start

No swaybar this time, but I do have the one off my base model donor I could put on.

Current setup that I started with:
Stock df qa1/bc coil over combo set clickers to 10 out.
30psi on all tires
1 inch of rake in ride height
3 degrees of camber front, 1.5 rear.
6 degrees of caster
1/8 inch tow in on front, 3/32 in rear.

Put that rear sway bar on. May need to get “ss” bar end links because the stock ones are much longer and droop the bar down pretty good.

get your pressure way down. 30 is to high for even on the street, 20 street and what I stated earlier (in that range) for track.

-.5 to -1.0 is all you need on camber in the front. All else looks fine

I’d bet you are not even using 20% of your front tires, with that kind of pressure and camber

Come on by! Due to the goblin being a tube chassis the only class it fits in is unlimited so I won't be winning anything. But we are going to have a good time seeing if a car I built can handle a drag and drive. We tried to get into sick week because it's close to me but it sold out before I got home from work. I have family in Charlotte so this worked out pretty good as well.

I just signed up for SCCA. I should be at the Orlando and Daytona events. I just got rear shocks and changed my camber on all four corners so hopefully we can have a fighting chance in unlimited.

In SCCA we run either in "E Modified" or Novice class. The Unlimited class only applied to the drag and drive I signed up for.

Yep. For SCCA, if you have never run you’ll be NEM (Novice e mod). Once you get 3 events (I think 3 or 5) under your helmet, you’ll drop the novice and just be e-mod (EM).

My 2nd autocross is in the books! This time we were at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The car was so much more composed with the suggested alignment settings! Thank you very much @Rttoys and @Desert Sasqwatch ! Now I gotta figure out how to make the throttle a little more responsive and the car will be good to go until the driver catches up! Here is a quick video of my third run:

We got a total of five runs and I got faster on each one again like my first event. The convention center course was much faster than my first event. Sooo much fun though and this time I had family in town so he came along and rode with on most of my laps.

Also had the pleasure of meeting Cooper AKA @Stretch2126 . Nice job on your build sir and congrats on the class win! You're gonna be fighting for overall podium spots with that rocket you built once its sorted out! I look forward to trying to keep up again at Daytona and it sounds like we may have a third goblin at that event as well!

Before anybody says anything, yea, we got reprimanded for my passenger holding his phone on this run. We probably should have known better.
