I had a great opportunity to give back to the community and get the Goblin out during this weekend's Sun Valley Tour de Force. The organization raised $1.025M last year for the Hunger Coalition, Blaine County Education Foundation and the Space and BCFirST with title sponsor support from McLaren Automotive. The famous Phantom Hill "no speed limit" run was cut short this year when a Porsche 911 suffered a tire failure during the high-speed run and crashed. Driver and Passenger are hospitalized and reported to be in stable condition.
This was my sixth show of the season and the best turn out I've seen at the Tour de Force car show since it's start in 2018. I'm seeing fewer kit cars out there so I enjoy talking to others about the build and hopefully inspiring some to take on the challenge. I always have a couple people ask if the car is for sale and I gently push them to the forums here or Facebook page. There are quite a few people who are very interested in the Gen 2 Goblin.
