So as figured my frame did not get done this week so beyond cleaning my shop (always needs done) I machined me a slug to pull the hoses through the frame. Some 1" 23kN webbing strap should get the job done.

Their new method is way easier. I pulled mine with a rope pulling and my buddy feeding it. It took about 15 minutes to do both tubes.
I already cut up all the rope I have under 11mm for classes... I have spools up on spools of 1" nylon webbing, figured it would be easy to pull by hand or I will pull it w my sxs winch

I got the 'stink eye' from the very first time I showed my wife a picture of what I was getting into. Only response was 'you'll get a ticket and end up in jail'. It's taken her quite a while to warm up to the idea this is a project and it keeps me out of her hair - even if it does cost money for the non-stop parade of parts that keep showing up. :p Don't worry at some point a wife accepts the fact she is married to an 18 year old and that toys are an essential part of keeping us sane/happy/occupied.

I think deep down she is "down" with it. Any time she does try and give me crap about it I say welp I used to have a nice airplane project!

Picked up my parts from the powder coater today! Took almost every metal part that comes in the kit including the side panels and it was $700. Waiting on someone to help me get it off the trailer,,, Then I have from tomorrow till a week from Sunday to get as much as I can done till I hit the road for the next eight weeks or more.

Jesus, $700 AND it was almost all of the medal pieces!? Might be worth the drive to Andrews, IN to get my stuff coated. I'm still calling around here in Pensacola, but they have been $2k+

The only things I didn't take were the steering column stuff.

So has anyone had this happen? The boss for the bottom clutch switch is hitting the steering shaft before it is even in place. And of course the switch hits on the outside of the boss so it cannot be trimmed. 07 SC donor

My top switch fix has both N/O & N/C is it possible to wire both to the one micro switch? I know that the purpose of the bottom is to ensure that the clutch is ALL the way in before the starting circuit will be energized.

Angle the steering box and steering wheel to the left (outside), which will move the steering shaft toward the brake pedal. Bonus - it aims the steering wheel more toward the center of your driver's seat.
