Extra tabs for side panel mounting. I only added 1 on each side. I am going to try 3m VHB tape to hold my sides on with only 1 or 2 rivets
Extra floor supports. That aluminum floor is thin and will not hurt to have an extra bar or two.

I'm probably going to go with double sided tape too for the side panel mounting, but was wondering how well it would hold up with the frame tubes being round and not being able to provide a lot of sticky contact area to the sheet metal.

If you have the ability to weld on tabs. I would do a bunch on the lower tube for mounting the side panels, tape will be great for vibration but a mechanical mounting is best.

If you go with double sided tape, I second the use of VHB tape by 3M. It is the same tape that they mount siding on skyscrapers in desert climates as well as some trailer siding. It is more permanent than rivets on ideal surfaces, problem will come if you ever want to remove the panel later for a re-wrap or anything else. My frame came with tabs welded in place for the lower tube. I wonder is that something that changed? or added after yours?

Mine has tabs from DF also Just holding the side panel in place I saw a few spots that would be good places to add a few since I am going with the tape. The tubes themselves would probably work just fine. The extra tabs are just insurance.

It is all about personal preference. If you see a reason to add a tab then add it .

Dang... i think i need to add some tabs for the shoulder straps on my 5 point. It has all hard points

Oh, I see what you're talking about. I guess it helps to actually look at the picture. What kind of harnesses are those? With the Corbeaus, you can either use hard mounting or wrapping around the frame. The hard mount piece will slide off.

It looks like you're either going to have to weld in some tabs or buy another set that gives the option to either wrap or wrap/hard mount. I'm not sure what thoughts are rattling around, but I wouldn't modify/cut those harnesses in any way. Even if it's in a non load bearing section, I wouldn't risk it.

On a side note, what's the piece called that is circled with a #2 on it?

Water pump. The cover allows you to change out the internal pump without having to remove the entire cover and crank pulley.

The seal on the access plate? Because that is just a plate to access the pump, not the actual pump. You would remove the plate to be able to remove the internal pump assembly. If you seal oil around that plate, then just the plate seal would need to be replaced.
