V1 Towerdog's Indiana Street Goblin Build (#250) 07 SS/SC Donor

Towerdog
The day has finally come that my order from OTTP has arrived!! 3 day select shipping took 13 days to travel 254 miles which is an average of 19.5 miles a day.. So I apologize for the slanderous comment about the pony express... They averaged 75-100 miles a day.

Mine from OTTP took over a month to go from Michigan to Florida. What was my surprise when I saw they had paid for 2 day shipping!

Yes, it was an evap related solenoid that I removed. I don't remember where it went, but if it went to intake vacuum, then yes, cap it. You don't want leaks in your intake.

Our SC engine has 2 MAP sensors - one after the supercharger, and one that just measures atmospheric pressure. Is that the barometer sensor you are referring to? That sensor wasn't hooked up in my car, and gave me "Engine Reduced Power" error.
It is the one that is mounted (bracketed) to the coolant burp line.

A picture would be helpful... I am not sure from looking at that Baro.jpg image, but here is a picture of my baro/MAP sensor. There is no tube on the baro sensor, just wires. It has a hole on the bottom that lets air in... no tube attached.

It is buried above the oil filter, below the supercharger bypass valve actuator on the lower left of this image.

As we say in the Air Force, accuracy by volume. Have my engine hanging from the hoist still like what it came out of the engine bay so took some pictures. My #1 is also vented to atmosphere, though looks like there was a little filter that tore over it. The evap connection goes to the front of the SC by the TB.

Thank you! That helps and explains alot.

I am not going to mess with it any more this year though....

Well an Update to my build, Clutch kit and bolt kits came in so I was able to get the trans back on the engine. Now all I need is a frame.... And I think its getting close!!

FYI a 3" PVC fitting is about the perfect size to reseat the rear main seal.

The clutch alignment tools snout was a wee bit on the small side so I had to turn a adapter sleeve to get it to center.
