I was thinking the same thing. I remember worrying more about the springs falling out and hitting me in the shins. You guys are making me wonder what I did wrong.I don't remember having any issues. It seemed really straight forward.
I'm having a hard time picturing where you're having issues. Can you snap a pic?
Does anyone have a link to all the parts I need to save? I have a google photos folder with the parts for the auto LT and I want to make sure I have everything for the ss.
I think you will be able to hook up the EVAP with out those 2 valves. They are for the over fill and to prevent leaks if you end up on your lid.I'm in the process if trying to figure out that evap system also I'm just going to keep it on so i dont have headache when trying to register here in jersey if you look at my build log towards the end you will see some pictures of the Fill Limit Vent Valve,Grade Vent Valve that I removed from my gas tank to some how install them on the new tank
So I'm going to have to explain this the best I can.So I'm think to be able to eliminate to 2 valve I would have to just take a out the tee that goes to the filler neck and just run that Straight to the canister so wherre my finger is pointing that is where it was connected to the filler neck I'm i in the right track do you think that would workI think you will be able to hook up the EVAP with out those 2 valves. I would also be willing to bet that you will need the evap in CA

The evap canister contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer or other reproductive harm.
Almost 100% sure CA will require the evap system. The state requires CARB compliant cold air intakes for crying out loud.![]()
