Great, thanks for the interest!Standard 0 degree BC struts. Thanks
No worries! Sounds good, thanks!I seemed to have not answered your question. Put her down for the standard. Thanks
I'd still be interested in the winning option at 0 deg as I do have plenty of adjustment with the tubular subframe.Hi All,
Thank you all for the interest! BC standard 0° offset is winning by a landslide, and were very close to 10 people. Please let me know if there's any corrections I need to make, but here is what I have so far:
BC standard mount 0° offset:
Koni standard -1° offset:
- Gtstorey
- Comegetjoe
- Jaredthenav
- SmsDetroit
- Rttoys
- Markm
- Indy Lonnie
- OptimizePrime
BC coax -1° offset:
- [me]
BC coax -2° offset:
- Sparvy
- Keckster
@Sparvy @Keckster ... unfortunately I don't think a coax is going to happen at this rate. With that said, if I run a batch of standard 0°, it wouldn't be that hard to run a modified batch of standard -1° for myself+both of you. If I were to offer a small batch of standard -1° at the same price ($250), is this something you'd be interested in?
Thanks for your flexibility! The 0 degree standard is definitely going to be the winner, so I've moved you over to that list.I'd still be interested in the winning option at 0 deg as I do have plenty of adjustment with the tubular subframe.
Nice! What I have mocked up is extremely similar, not that there's a lot of different ways to design this. Although several people have DIY'd their own personal solution, nobody has made something available to the masses, which is why I started this group buy.didn't sebnuts design this about 2 or so years back? i 3d printed his model but haven't got it set up in my MR-1 cnc to produce yet becuase i really need to just start my own goblin before i get too distracted on upgrades

that kit looks pretty affordable. well compared to the OTTP guys. i suspect though it is too soft for a rear powerplant? Softer than Delrin for sure, but harder than an OEM bushing, which plenty of people are running. Something to consider before you go Delrin: The DF supplied, fixed upper...dfkitcar.com

is it possible to have them as identical parts vs mirror image parts? My suspension geometry is quite a bit different than the stock DF setup, and there is a left and a right. The stock DF parts are identical. I can put some "stock" geometry models together that use the same FK bearing if you...dfkitcar.com
Are you interested in a set? This is an anodized billet bolt-in solution, that will solve this issue, and only cost $250 including shipping, bearings, and hardware, if we can get enough people together.
I was going to hard anodize black all of them.Well perhaps, it would save me setting up the CNC eventually- but currently my capital funds are a bit limited with my recent firetruck purchase and preparation for the summer shows with my host of vehicles. lol. I may desire 5 sets- 4 of those for non-Goblin/ 4 wheel T-rex projects. I prefer black Anodized for all of them and 0 degree (didn't see a color specified).
what may be more relevant to the group overall:
When are funds required? vs when can we expect the parts?
Will there be later orders?
How are the funds to be delivered?
Got it, thanks all for the interest! This is gaining more traction than I thought (which is a good thing). I'll just keep this list rolling for my book keeping...Add me, BC 0°. Thanks!
Sure I'm OK with standard, but curious and struggling to understand the coaxial option....
