...then again, this one had a clean title, so who the heck knows.

Copart has it labeled as a run and drive, but the front end damage looks pretty bad. It'll "probably" be fine, but you might encounter some surprises.
Depending on price tomorrow I may go for it. I did a quick VIN check on copart and it came back at 111k miles

My donor had the front caved in enough to hit the supercharger. The supercharger was able to transfer the impact load thru the intake, head, & block and break the motor mounts. Still working 4 years later! Your mileage may vary, but mine survived.

I also had a frontal crash donor too that took out the radiator, TB, and ABS wiring. A little help from the forum on continuing the tan twisted pair, and new radiator and TB and she was driving fine.

ALRIIIIGHT, another car. Who’s sick of me yet? Haha

06’ SS/SC w/ 180k miles

timing chain and water pump has been done.
Car looks clean and I’m waiting on the RPO code but looks to have recaro seats…G85 package w/ LSD?

3k is the lowest they’ll go, is the extra price worth it for the G85 package? Hoping I can get a good bit back from the unused parts. Not having much luck and lost the auction today for the crashed SS in Dayton.

Sure it’s not a 07? Black charger and the seats are 07 not 06. Not that it really matters, just saying.

looks like good sellable parts there too

As to: "Who's sick of me yet?" Anyone who is tired of getting to witness the birth of another fun car doesn't have to read this stuff! YOU! Keep on posting the "what" and "how" it's happening and if some individuals don't want to read it that is their problem! Nobody is forcing anybody to experience any of this!
There will be agony and there will be ecstasy!, near misses and amazing saves. No telling how many chapters it will take or if it flings off the rails into project oblivion? I am an incurable "Car Romantic" and Hot Rodder; always ready to watch the underdog pull a plum out of the junk, twist some wrenches and ride off into a perfect sunset. I know we are "cut from the same cloth" or you would not be looking down this road, much less shopping wrecks!
BON CHANCE et BON ROUTE, MON AMI!

That's an 06 steering wheel, so very possible the seats were swapped. Definitely get the rpo to verify if it's a g85. It also looks lowered so it probably has aftermarket coil overs in the rear. I think the price is worth it if it's running and driving.

I think I am with everyone else that there is lots to sell off the car. It does not look like coil overs in the front so I would say cut springs all around, but that is ok as you don't use them anyway if you get the rear DF coil overs. Ask if non-stock pulley, coil packs, injectors, tune with the car or 100% stock with exception of intake kit. If you are in a populous area you could recoup 1-2K off parts. I spent over $2K putting a supercharger on my 2.4L auto so $3K and the chance to sell lots and you get to test drive to see if everything sounds and feels right. Does not look like a bad choice.
